The SupaCat Boat
The SupaCat is our limited release concept of a small PowerCat built for Hawaiian waters. These are not your standard mass produced boats that some company cut corners on to optimize profits for the shareholders. Hand laid fiberglass and attention to detail, build strength, and weight are all critical factors in each unique SupaCat. With final details optimized based on the client’s actual intended use.
The SupaCat is a fully loaded twin-hull PowerCat boat with an 8-inch bill, fully built gunnels, half-cab, fish box, and more... and built to handle Hawaiian waters. It can be powered with as little as a single 40 hp outboard or as much as twin 60s. Options include full composite build vs marine-ply, fish boxes, seat boxes, gaff/storage racks, fuel tank setup and more.

Description of Terms and Other Details
What is marine-plywood and how is it different than composite board?
Marine grade plywood is a quality grade of plywood made to have a higher density and salt-water resistant glues. Composite board (aka "Coosa" or "Thermolite" or "green board" or "black board" is made from a special mix of foam and fiberglass that makes it 40% lighter than marine-ply and will never rot. Each has their pros and cons but composite tends to cost substantially more.
What is the "Bill" of a boat and how is it helpful?
The "bill" of a boat is a flat "duck-bill" looking area on the top of the bow that can be used as an area to stand and throw an anchor, and it also acts as a sponson to help deflect water.
What fish box styles are available?
With a smaller catamaran style boat like the SupaCat, we can either offer two smaller fishboxes that are built into each of the hulls or a single bigger fish box that rests on the deck of the boat. The benefit of the below deck fish boxes is that the boat keeps a lower center of gravity and the deck remains more open for movement. The below deck fish boxes also act as flotation chambers below the water line for added safety.
What seat box options are available?
We suggest having two seat boxes as they can be used to mount seat pedestals and also be used for storage underneath.
What gaff rack options do you offer?
You have the option to have a 4 inch wide by about 6 feet long storage rack/shelf under each side gunnel. They are very functional and can be used to store your gaff, lures, cans, etc.
